At Lyndoch Cricket Club, we’re passionate about growing the game from the ground up. Our Junior program offers a structured pathway that is a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment for boys and girls of all skill levels to learn, play, and thrive in cricket. Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or already dreaming of wearing their favourite Big Bash or state & national colours, there’s a place for them at Lyndoch. All players receive a playing shirt, cap and access to equipment as part of our low registration fees (free if you use your SA Goverment SportsVoucher!)

Woolworths Cricket Blast (Ages 5–8)

The perfect introduction to cricket and first step in a young kid's journey! Woolworths Cricket Blast is all about fun, friendship, and action-packed skill development. With mini games, and high-energy activities, it’s facilitate by our passionate coordinators and designed to teach the basics in an exciting and pressure-free environment. Ideal for kids new to the sport. Parent involvement strongly encouraged! All kids receive a free Blast pack with their registration - find out more about Woolworths Cricket Blast here.

Junior Cricket (Rookies, U10, U12, U14, U16*)

Our Junior teams offer a clear, structured pathway for players to grow their skills and confidence with age-appropriate formats and coaching:

• Rookies & U10 – Transitioning from Cricket Blast with modified rules, equal participation, and a focus on fun and fundamentals.

• U12 & U14 – Developing skills, match awareness, teamwork, and tactical play.

• U16* – The last step in the Junior program and good preparation for players ready to take the next step toward senior cricket (*team pending numbers).

We believe in giving every child the opportunity to play, improve, and enjoy the game.

Strikers Girls (Ages 8-14)

Girls can shine just as brightly at Lyndoch! Our Strikers Girls team, who play in the U14 Barossa Strikers Girls Cricket League, is a great place for young female cricketers to develop skills, make new friends, and play in a welcoming and empowering environment. Open to all experience levels – from first-timers to future stars.
